Renault India Launches New’R Store in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh

Renault India, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Renault Group, has launched its new’R store in Vijayawada, marking the brand’s retail debut in Andhra Pradesh. The inauguration signifies the sixth new’R store rollout in India, aligning with the company’s broader renault. rethink. transformation initiative aimed at enhancing customer experience and modernizing its retail presence.

The new facility, located in Vijayawada, spans a total area of 21,720 square feet, including a 5,400 square foot showroom space. It features dedicated zones for displaying up to five vehicles, along with a delivery bay designed to streamline the purchase and handover process for customers.

This expansion reflects Renault India’s strategy to upgrade its sales and service network in line with evolving consumer expectations, incorporating contemporary design, digital integration, and improved service standards. The new’R stores are built in accordance with Renault’s global retail guidelines, emphasizing accessibility, comfort, and an engaging customer journey.

The Vijayawada outlet showcases Renault’s New Visual Identity (NVI), characterized by a sleek black façade, a refreshed logo, and a modern interior layout. The design aims to create a more immersive environment, allowing customers to explore vehicle features and models in a spacious and inviting setting.

Speaking at the event, Francisco Hidalgo, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Renault India Pvt. Ltd., highlighted the strategic importance of the Andhra Pradesh market. “The response to our vehicles in this region has been positive, and the launch of our new’R store in Vijayawada supports our broader objective of expanding our footprint across India,” he said. “This initiative is centered on delivering consistent, high-quality customer experiences while aligning global brand standards with local market needs.”

The new’R store format is part of Renault’s long-term commitment to strengthening its presence in India through a future-ready dealership network. As the company continues its retail transformation, it aims to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement across tier-1 and tier-2 cities.
