Remsons Industries Partners with Brazilian Firm for Technology Transfer Agreement

Remsons Industries Limited, a Mumbai-based automotive component manufacturer, announced on June 27, 2025, that it has entered into a Strategic Technical License Agreement with AUSUS Automotive Systems do Brasil LTDA. The partnership will facilitate the transfer of engineering and manufacturing technologies to Brazil to support local Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

Under the agreement, Remsons India will collaborate with AUSUS Brazil to license proprietary technologies, enabling the development and manufacturing of products tailored to the Brazilian market. The initiative focuses on strengthening the automotive and electronics industries in Brazil through technology transfer and local capability building.

The collaboration will provide Brazilian OEMs access to advanced engineering solutions, potentially enhancing their product offerings and manufacturing capabilities. The agreement also aims to contribute to the growth of Brazil's manufacturing sector and create employment opportunities in the region.

Rahul Kejriwal, Director of Remsons, stated that the partnership represents a step toward supporting local OEMs and strengthening Brazil's industrial ecosystem. The company views the collaboration as part of its commitment to fostering technological advancement in international markets.

Remsons Industries has operated in the automotive sector for 50 years, supplying components to two, three, and four-wheeler vehicles, commercial vehicles, and off-highway vehicles across India and globally. The company maintains manufacturing facilities in Gurgaon, Pune, Pardi, and Daman in India, as well as operations in Stourport and Redditch in England.

The company's product portfolio includes control cables, gear shifters, pedal boxes, winches, lighting systems, and sensors. Remsons has been certified as a Great Place to Work in India for four consecutive years and was ranked 30th among India's great mid-size workplaces.

AUSUS Automotive Systems do Brasil operates as a manufacturer and provider of technological solutions including auto control cables, gear shifters, knobs, sheet metal, stamping, and injection molding parts. The company serves automotive and agricultural industries, with current customers including General Motors, Volkswagen, Volvo, and Deere.

The agreement represents Remsons' expansion of international partnerships and its strategy to support local manufacturing capabilities in emerging markets through technology transfer arrangements.
