Registrations begin for Autocar Professional India EV Conclave to be held in Chennai

Registrations begin for Autocar Professional India EV Conclave to be held in Chennai

All roads would lead to the Leela Palace, Chennai, on November 21, 2023, when Autocar Professional and the Tamil Nadu Government organise the mega on-ground event - India EV Conclave – to discuss the way forward for the EV industry. The registrations have begun, and keen industry professionals could register using this link for this invitation-only event.

The event theme - Electrifying Tomorrow: Navigating the EV Transition - will focus on the challenges and opportunities, such as developing the EV infrastructure, innovations in battery technology, as well as R&D and manufacturing of electric vehicles, and will be a congregation of the best minds in the EV business from around the world. 

The India EV Conclave will see addresses from State dignitaries, including Dr TRB Rajaa, Industries Minister, Tamil Nadu; Thiru. V. Vishnu (IAS), MD, Guidance Bureau; and industry leaders like Unsoo Kim, Managing Director, Hyundai Motor India. The power-packed event will see over 25 speakers, including Shailesh Chandra, MD, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility; R Velusamy, President, Mahindra Group, and Eric Vas, President, EVs, Bajaj Auto, among others.

Six panel discussions will holistically encapsulate all aspects of the EV landscape by discussing topics such as policy impact, creation of a local EV supply chain in India as well as strengthening of the EV charging infrastructure in the country. Click for a Detailed Agenda.

The event will act as a platform for industry stakeholders to share their ideas and solutions, and the Tamil Nadu Government, which is already a frontrunner to establish the State as an EV hub, to share its plans and visions as it aims to draw upwards of Rs 50,000 crore investment in the EV ecosystem.

The India EV Conclave platform will bring together industry experts, policy makers, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders, and will offer automotive industry professionals a tremendous networking opportunity as well as a forum to shape the dialogue around the EV transition, and contribute to a shared vision of cleaner and greener transportation systems.
