Oben Electric, an electric motorcycle manufacturer based in Bengaluru, has opened its 50th showroom and service center in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, marking a key milestone in its expansion strategy. The new facility expands the company’s footprint to 15 states and 37 cities across India.
Recent expansions include showrooms in Guntur (Andhra Pradesh), Ranchi (Jharkhand), Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh), Aligarh and Unnao (Uttar Pradesh), and Palakkad (Kerala). This growth follows strong customer interest in the Rorr EZ and the recently launched Rorr EZ Sigma, a next-generation electric commuter motorcycle.
The Rorr EZ Sigma features improvements in performance, technology integration, and practicality over its predecessor, positioning it as a core offering in Oben Electric’s product lineup.
The company, founded in August 2020, attributes its rapid retail expansion to increasing demand for electric mobility solutions and its focus on in-house research and development. Oben Electric is one of the few Indian EV manufacturers with full vertical integration, producing key components such as lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, electric motors, chargers, and vehicle control units internally. This approach allows the company to tailor its products for Indian road conditions and climate.

Each Oben Electric showroom is co-located with a service center, ensuring integrated sales and support. The company plans to grow its network to more than 150 locations by the end of the current financial year.
