Oben Electric Expands into Eastern India with New Showroom in Bhubaneswar
Oben Electric opens its first showroom in Bhubaneswar, marking its entry into Eastern India and expanding its national presence to 37 showrooms across 26 cities, with plans to reach over 100 by year-end.
Oben Electric, a Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle manufacturer, has entered Eastern India with the launch of a new showroom and service center in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This expansion brings the company’s total network to 37 showrooms across 26 cities nationwide.
The new showroom, centrally located in Bhubaneswar, has been introduced in response to growing demand for electric motorcycles in the region. Odisha is emerging as a key market for EVs, supported by state policies, tax incentives, and rising interest in sustainable transportation.
Inspired by Oben Electric’s Bengaluru experience center, the Bhubaneswar outlet features four interactive sections: Moto Live for product trials, Moto X for insights into core components, Moto Zen as a space for customer interaction, and Moto Rack for accessories and merchandise. The showroom is supported by Oben Care, a dedicated service facility offering maintenance, doorstep support, and roadside assistance. With in-house manufacturing of major components, the company aims to ensure timely service and spare parts availability.
The showroom will offer the Oben Rorr EZ, a performance electric motorcycle built entirely in India. It is available in three battery variants—2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh—featuring Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery technology. The Rorr EZ offers an IDC-certified range of up to 175 km, accelerates from 0–40 km/h in 3.3 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 95 km/h. It supports 80% fast charging in 45 minutes. Prices start at ₹99,999 (ex-showroom), with a down payment option from ₹7,999. As a launch offer, customers purchasing the motorcycle in the first month at the Bhubaneswar showroom will receive a complimentary gold coin.
Oben Electric, founded in 2020, designs, develops, and manufactures electric motorcycles and their key components in-house. The company currently holds over 25 patents and plans to further expand its footprint across India in the coming months.
