Oben Electric Begins Deliveries of Rorr Evo After Crossing 25,000 Bookings

Oben Electric has commenced customer deliveries of its Rorr Evo electric motorcycle, beginning with customers in Bengaluru, after the model received more than 25,000 bookings within 15 days of its launch in May 2026. The company said deliveries will be expanded across its network of over 150 showrooms in the coming weeks.

The Bengaluru-based manufacturer said it is scaling deliveries through its production facility, which has an annual manufacturing capacity of more than one lakh electric motorcycles. The company currently operates a retail and service network spanning more than 150 showrooms and Oben Care service centres across over 90 cities in 18 states.

According to the company, the Rorr Evo's booking momentum reflects growing interest in electric motorcycles, a segment that accounts for a relatively small share of India's electric two-wheeler market despite motorcycles representing nearly 65% of the country's overall two-wheeler sales.

"Building demand is one milestone, but consistently delivering on that demand is what builds enduring customer trust. The commencement of Rorr Evo deliveries marks an important milestone for us as strong customer demand now translates into real motorcycles on the road," said Madhumita Agrawal, Founder and CEO, Oben Electric.

Priced at ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom), the Rorr Evo is powered by the company's proprietary 9 kW electric motor paired with a 3.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack. Oben claims the motorcycle offers a top speed of 110 km/h, an IDC-certified range of 180 km, and can accelerate from 0-40 km/h in three seconds. The company also claims fast charging from 0-80% in 90 minutes and offers an eight-year battery warranty.

The motorcycle is equipped with Oben's AI-based SmartIQ ride optimisation technology, which the company says can improve range by up to 15%. Other features include a 5-inch TFT display, over-the-air software updates, turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing, remote immobilisation, and fall detection with emergency SOS through its ARGUS connected platform.

Oben Electric said it designs and manufactures key EV components, including battery packs, motors, vehicle control units, chargers and software, in-house. The company said its manufacturing capacity and expanding retail footprint are expected to support the nationwide rollout of the Rorr Evo.
