VIDA Launches Limited-Edition Electric Off-Roader at 100th FIM International Six Days Enduro
Hero MotoCorp's electric vehicle brand VIDA has released a 100-unit numbered edition of its youth off-road bike in partnership with the FIM at its centenary event in Portugal.
Hero MotoCorp's electric vehicle brand VIDA unveiled a limited edition of its DIRT.E K3 youth electric off-roader on October 16 at the 100th FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Grândola, Portugal. The production run is capped at 100 units, with each bike numbered to correspond to a specific edition of the event, which has been held annually since 1913. The launch marks VIDA's first appearance at the ISDE and positions the brand within the competitive space of electric off-road mobility for younger riders.
The collaboration makes VIDA the first Indian electric vehicle brand to enter an official partnership with the ISDE under the Fédération Internationale de Motoclyclisme (FIM). The limited edition carries official 6DAYS® branding, green and red colour accents drawn from the Portuguese flag, and what the company describes as race-inspired competition typography. Beyond the visual treatment, the underlying bike remains mechanically identical to the standard DIRT.E K3.
The DIRT.E K3 was first introduced in December 2025 as VIDA's opening entry into the off-road electric segment, aimed specifically at younger riders. Its central design feature is adjustability: the handlebar height, footrest position, and seat height can each be reconfigured without tools, allowing the bike to be resized as a rider's physical dimensions change over time. This modular approach is intended to extend the usable life of a single unit across different stages of a child's development, rather than requiring replacement as the rider grows.
VIDA DIRT.E K3 Specs: Riding Modes, Battery and Safety Features
A companion app allows users to monitor usage data, set speed limits remotely, and switch between riding modes. The bike offers three modes controlled via a thumb throttle, capping speeds at 9 km/h in Mode 1, 17–18 km/h in Mode 2, and 24 km/h in Mode 3. The graduated speed structure is designed to allow younger or less experienced riders to progress incrementally.
On the safety side, the bike is equipped with a magnetic kill switch that cuts power automatically if the rider is separated from the machine, alongside a 60 mm rear disc brake. Power comes from a removable 360 Wh lithium-ion battery pack, which the company says charges from zero to full capacity in approximately three hours. The removable design allows for charging away from the bike itself, which may be a practical consideration in outdoor or trail settings.
DIRT.E K3 Awards: Red Dot Design and CES 2026 Innovation Honoree
The DIRT.E K3 received a Red Dot Design Award in 2025 and was named a CES 2026 Innovation Award Honoree, two recognitions that VIDA has cited in positioning the product within a broader conversation about design and innovation in youth electric mobility.
Why VIDA Launched the 6DAYS Edition at the ISDE
The ISDE launch comes as electric two-wheelers for younger riders represent a growing but still relatively niche segment globally. Traditional internal combustion off-road bikes for children and teenagers have an established market, and electric alternatives are increasingly being introduced by both established manufacturers and newer entrants. VIDA's decision to debut a limited edition at one of motorsport's oldest endurance events signals an effort to align the brand with competitive off-road culture, rather than positioning the product solely as a recreational or urban mobility device.
The 100-unit production ceiling keeps the 6DAYS® edition firmly in collector or enthusiast territory. By numbering each unit against a specific historical edition of the ISDE, the product is tied to the event's 113-year history, a detail that may carry weight with buyers who follow competitive motorcycling.
