Nissan Motor India Opens Five New Touchpoints in Rajasthan
Company expands network to 283 customer touchpoints nationwide with simultaneous launch of facilities in Jaipur, Udaipur, and Ajmer.
Nissan Motor India announced the opening of five new customer touchpoints in Rajasthan on today, bringing the company's total network to 283 locations across India. The expansion includes facilities in Jaipur, Udaipur, and Ajmer, increasing Nissan's presence in the state to 19 touchpoints.
The new facilities comprise a showroom and service workshop in Jaipur, a comprehensive sales-service-spare parts center in Udaipur, and a showroom in Ajmer. Managing Director Saurabh Vatsa inaugurated the centers, which are staffed by sales and service professionals.
In Jaipur, the Namoh Nissan showroom occupies 4,000 square feet at Karoli Bagh, Gurjar Ki Thadi, while the accompanying service workshop spans 20,000 square feet at a nearby location in Moti Nagar. The Udaipur facility covers 10,000 square feet near Celebration Mall, combining a 2,000 square foot showroom with an 8,000 square foot workshop. The Ajmer showroom measures 4,000 square feet on Jaipur Road.
Vatsa said the expansion reflects the company's commitment to serving customers in Rajasthan as the state emerges as a key automotive market. The facilities are designed to provide customers with vehicle sales, service, and spare parts support.
Rajasthan now hosts four Nissan touchpoints in Jaipur, two in Udaipur, and two in Ajmer. The expansion aligns with Nissan's strategy to strengthen its presence in tier-two and tier-three markets across India.
The announcement coincides with Nissan's introduction of a government-approved CNG retrofit kit for the Magnite SUV, priced at 74,999 rupees. The kit, manufactured by Motozen, is compatible with the vehicle's 1.0-liter petrol engine manual transmission variant and will be available at authorized fitment centers.
Nissan Motor India reported consolidated sales of over 99,000 units in the 2024-25 financial year, marking its best single-year performance in seven years. The Magnite SUV contributed over 28,000 units to domestic sales, while exports reached over 71,000 units across 65 international markets, establishing India as an export hub for the company.
The company's network expansion comes as it prepares for future product launches in the Indian market, with the new facilities positioned to support both current operations and anticipated growth in regional automotive demand.
