MINI Convertible Sells Out Within 24 Hours of India Launch
The all-new MINI Convertible, priced at INR 58.5 lakh, sold out completely within a day of its December 12 launch, with bookings now open for the next delivery phase starting early 2026.
BMW Group India has announced that the first batch of the all-new MINI Convertible was completely sold out within 24 hours of its launch in the Indian market on December 12, 2025.
The vehicle, imported as a completely-built-up unit, was introduced at an ex-showroom price of INR 58,50,000. The rapid sellout has prompted the company to open bookings for the next phase of deliveries, which are scheduled to begin in early 2026.
Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO of BMW Group India, commented on the response: "The speed at which the all-new MINI Convertible sold underscores how strongly our community resonates with irresistible design and a genuinely fun, authentic driving experience."
Key Features
The all-new MINI Convertible S comes equipped with standard LED headlights featuring three light signatures and 18-inch aerodynamically optimized wheels. The black soft top can be fully opened in 18 seconds and closed in 15 seconds, and can also function as a partial sunroof, opening up to 40 centimeters at any speed.
The interior centers around a round high-resolution OLED display called the MINI Interaction Unit, which combines instrument cluster and central display functions. The vehicle includes the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant, activated by voice command, and MINI Digital Key Plus technology that allows smartphone-based vehicle access.
The convertible is powered by a petrol engine with MINI TwinPower Turbo technology, delivering 150 kW (204 hp) at 5,000-6,500 rpm and maximum torque of 300 Nm at 1,450-4,500 rpm. The vehicle accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, with a top speed of 240 km/h.
Additional features include a Head-up Display and Harman Kardon Surround Sound System.
Potential customers interested in the all-new MINI Convertible can now place bookings for the next delivery phase through authorized MINI dealers across India.
