Mercedes-Benz Opens Service Facility in Varanasi

Mercedes-Benz India announced the inauguration of a new 2S service facility, Prime Star, in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The opening expands the brand's presence in the state to 10 customer touchpoints across cities including Noida, Ghaziabad, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, and Varanasi.

Inside the Varanasi Prime Star Facility

Located on near Varanasi airport, the facility covers approximately 25,000 square feet and features 10 operational service bays along with a dedicated spare-parts area. Equipped for preventive maintenance, general repairs, and bodywork, the center includes a 180 kW fast charger with two charging bays to support battery-electric vehicles. The facility employs a team of 20 service professionals and combines vehicle delivery and service operations at a single location.

Commenting on the expansion, Santosh Iyer, Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India, stated that Varanasi and Eastern Uttar Pradesh show strong growth potential, adding that bringing benchmark luxury service standards closer to regional customers builds a foundation for future growth.

AMG E 53 Hybrid Launch and the 2026 Expansion Roadmap

Alongside the facility opening, Mercedes-Benz launched the recently launched Mercedes-AMG E 53 Hybrid 4MATIC+ in the market. The Varanasi expansion forms part of Mercedes-Benz India's network development strategy, under which the company plans to add over 20 outlets in 2026.
