Maruti Suzuki introduces ‘e For Me’ vision to improve India’s electric mobility
The initiative features the launch of the eBorn SUV, e VITARA, and a comprehensive ecosystem to support EV adoption, showcasing Maruti Suzuki’s approach to sustainable transportation at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), a leading passenger vehicle manufacturer in India, has introduced its new vision for electric mobility, titled ‘e For Me.’ This initiative outlines a comprehensive plan that integrates electric vehicles, advanced technology, and charging infrastructure to support the shift towards sustainable transportation.
The ‘e For Me’ strategy is centered around a dual approach. The first aspect focuses on the launch of electric vehicles, starting with the company’s first eBorn SUV, the e VITARA. Designed specifically for Indian customers, the e VITARA represents Maruti Suzuki’s entry into the electric vehicle market. The second aspect involves creating a robust ecosystem to support the adoption of electric vehicles, aiming to provide a seamless ownership experience for customers.
Speaking about the initiative, Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, stated, “The ‘e For Me’ vision marks an important step in India’s transition to electric mobility. Maruti Suzuki’s goal is to provide a comprehensive ecosystem that makes the move to electric vehicles easier for customers. This initiative extends beyond the introduction of electric vehicles to include infrastructure and support systems for EV adoption.”
As part of this initiative, Maruti Suzuki will unveil the e VITARA at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, highlighting the company’s efforts to develop electric vehicles designed in India for global markets.
The company’s display at the expo will cover 3,300 m² in Hall No. 5 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Visitors will have the opportunity to view the e VITARA alongside other vehicles from Maruti Suzuki, including the Dzire, Swift, Invicto, Jimny, Fronx, Grand Vitara, and Brezza. The showcase will reflect the company’s focus on sustainable mobility and advanced technology.
