MapmyIndia and ClarityX Introduce Geo-FI Location Intelligence Tool for Lenders
Platform integrates spatial mapping data and predictive analytics into credit underwriting, market expansion, and loan recovery systems.
Digital mapping and deep-tech firm MapmyIndia Mappls has partnered with analytics company ClarityX to launch Geo-FI, a geospatial intelligence stack tailored for banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) institutions.
System Architecture
The plug-and-play platform integrates location data into existing credit workflows, connecting directly with Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Loan Management Systems (LMS), customer relationship management (CRM) software, and field collection systems via APIs and software development kits (SDKs). It offers cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployment configurations to meet institutional data compliance standards.
Core Capabilities
The architecture comprises three core operational modules: Geo-Analyse, to identify underserved, creditworthy geographic areas; Geo-Check, which enables localized risk scoring at the street level; and Geo-Collect to organize field recovery visits and track repayment patterns.
Rohan Verma, Joint Managing Director of MapmyIndia Mappls, noted that while financial services have largely transitioned to digital models, location intelligence has remained underutilized as a core risk metric. He stated that the platform aims to embed verified spatial data directly into institutional credit assessment systems to assist decision-making.
