Mahindra & Mahindra's domestic commercial vehicle wholesales surge 10% YoY in August 2023
The sales of vehicles under the category of LCV < 2T remained flat at 3,896 units in August 2023.
Mumbai-based Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) reported domestic sales for commercial vehicles jumped by 9.93% to 23,613 units during August 2023, as against 21482 units in August 2022.
As per the data provided by the company, the sales of vehicles under the category of LCV < 2T remained flat at 3,896 units in August 2023 when compared to similar sales in the corresponding period of last year.
However, the vehicles under the category of LCV 2 T–3.5 T saw a growth of 11% to 18,768 units in August 2023, as against 16,940 units in August 2022.
Furthermore, the vehicles in the LCV > 3.5T + MHCV category witnessed 949 units of wholesale, implying a 47% jump over August 2022, when it reported 646 units.
