Ducati India Launches 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally
Ducati India introduces the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally adventure motorcycle, featuring a 170 hp V4 engine, updated suspension and electronics, priced from INR 32.40 lakh across dealerships nationwide.
saDucati India has launched the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally, the latest version of its long-distance touring motorcycle aimed at adventure riders.
The Rally is powered by a 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine producing 170 hp at 10,750 rpm and 123 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm, paired with a counter-rotating crankshaft derived from Ducati's MotoGP technology. The engine includes a rear cylinder deactivation feature designed to improve fuel efficiency at standstill and low revs, and is matched with an updated quick-shift system that the company says provides a more direct gear-change feel.
The motorcycle's semi-active suspension, with 200mm of travel front and rear, now runs on an updated Skyhook DSS EVO strategy that adjusts hydraulic calibration based on terrain and riding style, while also allowing the rider to change suspension response mid-ride regardless of the selected mode. Automatic preload management maintains weight distribution whether the bike is carrying a rider alone, a passenger, or luggage.
A new onboard system called the Ducati Vehicle Observer, developed by Ducati's racing division, estimates the motorcycle's position and mass using simulated sensor data, which the company says improves the precision of its cornering ABS and wheelie control systems. The braking system has also been updated with a new strategy that activates the front brake when only the rear lever is used, a refinement aimed at reducing pitching during braking, particularly with a passenger aboard.
Other additions include a Forward Collision Warning function, cornering lights, and a "Coming Home" feature that keeps the headlight on briefly after the engine is switched off. An Automatic Lowering Device lowers the bike below 10 km/h and restores ride height once the rider accelerates past 50 km/h on-road or 20 km/h off-road. The 6.5-inch TFT dashboard has been updated with a new interface, while the Ducati Connect app continues to support navigation, calls, and music through a connected helmet intercom.
For two-up riding, the motorcycle gets a taller, wider windshield, revised pannier placement for passenger legroom, and a standard center stand for easier maintenance. Heated handgrips, adjustable across five temperature levels, are now standard.
Structurally, the bike retains its aluminum monocoque frame, with a repositioned, higher-mounted swingarm pivot intended to improve handling under load, and a larger 280mm rear brake disc. It comes exclusively with tubeless spoked wheels fitted with tire pressure sensors.
Ducati also offers a range of accessories and touring apparel for the model, including seats, windshields, and luggage options, along with weather-adapted riding gear such as the Tour Summer and Strada C5 outfits.
Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India, said the new model reflects the company's adventure touring philosophy and is intended to support the country's growing population of touring riders.
Maintenance intervals include valve clearance checks every 60,000 km and oil service every 15,000 km or 24 months, with a two-year warranty. The Multistrada V4 Rally is priced at Rs 32,40,000 for the Red variant and Rs 32,73,000 for Jade Green (ex-showroom), and is available now at Ducati dealerships across India.
