Mahindra Logistics and Sangti Solutions announce technology collaboration to optimise end to end supply chain operations

Mahindra Logistics in collaboration with Sangti Solutions Pvt. Ltd., an AI powered sustainability startup, today announced a technology collaboration offering Emission Analytics to innovate and optimise end-to-end supply chain operations.

Focusing on Scope 3 climate pollution, the partnership will provide Carbon emission KPIs for sectors such as auto, telecom, e-commerce, manufacturing, and white goods across full truck load, part truck load, warehousing, and cross border solutions.

Accelerating the company’s commitment to Net Zero, this collaboration aligns with Mahindra Logistics' Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments, supporting the broader goal of green supply chains.

Mahindra Logistics' green logistics ecosystem is a suite of solutions designed to help the company achieve its goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2040. It includes carbon-neutral warehousing solutions, sustainable transportation practices, an EV fleet for last mile delivery, plantation initiatives, energy efficiency improvements, and advancements in alternate fuels such as LNG and hydrogen.

Rampraveen Swaminathan, MD and CEO, Mahindra Logistics, said, "The logistics sector leaves an undeniable footprint on our planet. In India, where freight movement is heavily reliant on road transportation, a collaborative effort amongst shippers, logistics service providers, technology start-ups, and other stakeholders is essential to help the country achieve its Nationally Determined Contribution.

Reducing carbon intensity to 45% of India’s GDP by 2030 requires transformative change. As India is still a part of the Voluntary Carbon Market, there is an opportunity to accelerate this transition. Our collaboration with Sangti, reflects the private sector’s commitment to enhancing market credibility and supporting sustainable initiatives. We believe this collaboration will help our partners achieve their carbon neutrality goals more quickly, leading to improved air quality, health, and well-being for a better today and a brighter tomorrow."

Hitesh Bhuraia, Co-founder and CEO, Sangti Solutions Pvt. Ltd., said, "Together, we are confident in achieving our shared objective of delivering “low carbon” solutions to Mahindra Logistics customers, thereby helping them reduce their Scope 3 emissions."

As part of this collaboration, a fully automated system will be established through a SaaS platform. Accredited by the Global Logistics Emission Council (GLEC) and ISO 14083, this system seamlessly integrates into existing logistics and supply chain management processes. It is user-friendly and accessible via both web and mobile devices, providing a centralized interface for efficient data management and comprehensive viewing.
