Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Tops India's EV Commercial Vehicle Market for Fourth Straight Year
The company surpassed 1 lakh electric vehicle sales in a single financial year, a first for any commercial vehicle manufacturer in India.
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML) has maintained its position as the leading electric commercial vehicle manufacturer in India for the fourth consecutive financial year, according to data from the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). The company, a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., reported the milestone at the close of FY2025–26.
MLMML recorded sales of over 1 lakh electric vehicles during FY'26 alone, making it the first commercial vehicle manufacturer to cross that threshold within a single fiscal year. The company's cumulative EV sales now stand at more than 3.4 lakh units.
In the L5 vehicle category — which covers motorised three-wheelers used for goods and passenger transport — MLMML holds a market share of 39.7%. The company also reported that its fleet has cumulatively covered more than 6 billion electric kilometres, helping avoid approximately 240 kilo metric tonnes of carbon emissions.
During the financial year, MLMML launched the Mahindra UDO, a new addition to its electric portfolio. The vehicle offers a real-world driving range of 200 kilometres and includes features such as Reverse Throttle and an aerodynamic design, described as first-in-segment.
MLMML's current electric product range includes the Treo series, Zor Grand, e-Alfa, UDO, and ZEO 4W SCV, alongside petrol, CNG, and diesel variants under the Alfa and Jeeto nameplates. The company operates under the broader Mahindra Group, founded in 1945, with approximately 324,000 employees across more than 100 countries.
