Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Reaches 3 Lakh EV Milestone

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited has become the first original equipment manufacturer in India to surpass 300,000 electric vehicle sales, reinforcing its position as the country's top electric commercial vehicle producer.

The company achieved its most recent 100,000 vehicle sales in just 12 months, demonstrating accelerated market acceptance of its electric vehicle portfolio. The milestone reflects growing demand for sustainable transportation solutions in India's commercial vehicle sector.

MLMML's electric vehicle fleet has collectively traveled more than 5 billion kilometers since deployment. This cumulative distance has resulted in offsetting over 185 kilo metric tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions, which the company equates to the environmental benefit of planting 4.3 million trees.

The manufacturer's product range includes the Treo series, Zor Grand, e-Alfa three-wheelers, and the Mahindra ZEO four-wheeler. These vehicles cater to various last-mile mobility needs across passenger and cargo transportation segments.

Recent product launches include upgraded versions such as the Treo Plus sheet metal, e-Alfa Plus, Zor Grand Range Plus, and the Mahindra ZEO. The company has focused on incorporating customer feedback into its product development cycle.

To mark the achievement, MLMML has introduced an updated version of its NEMO platform across iOS, Android, and web interfaces. The platform provides drivers and fleet managers with vehicle management capabilities, including multi-vehicle monitoring, geo-tracking, service booking, roadside assistance, and charging network information.

The company previously launched its UDAY NXT program at the 200,000 vehicle milestone, offering drivers benefits including ₹20 lakh accidental insurance coverage and financial counseling services.

"Achieving the 3 Lakh EV milestone marks a proud moment in our journey towards sustainable mobility," said Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility. "At Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, we are not just manufacturing EVs - we are enabling livelihoods and shaping a cleaner future."

MLMML operates as a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and manufactures electric, petrol, CNG, and diesel vehicles for the last-mile mobility segment. The company has focused on developing the electric vehicle ecosystem through partnerships to increase customer adoption across India's commercial transportation sector.
