Standalone Results

Standalone revenue from operations was ₹1,204.70 crore for the quarter, against ₹872.81 crore a year earlier. Standalone profit was ₹89.00 crore, against ₹61.08 crore. For the half year, standalone revenue was ₹2,213.95 crore and profit was ₹162.75 crore.

The company restated the year-ago standalone figures to reflect the mergers of Lumax Ancillary Limited and IAC International Automotive India Private Limited into the company, accounted for using the pooling of interest method. The company said the mergers had no impact on the consolidated results.

Exceptional Items in FY26

The company's standalone results for FY26 included exceptional items of ₹16.65 crore, which reduced reported profit before tax. They comprised:

  • A ₹9.61 crore additional employee-related expense from the implementation of the new Labour Codes, reported separately as an exceptional item.
  •  A ₹7.04 crore impairment loss on its 50% equity investment in Lumax Japp Allied Technologies Private Limited

The impairment was recognised after the board approved the sale of the entire stake to Germany-based Japp Holding GmbH in May 2026. The sale was completed in the June quarter of FY27, and Lumax Japp Allied Technologies ceased to be a subsidiary. Its results are included in the consolidated figures up to 29 June 2026.
