KP Group, a Surat-based renewable energy conglomerate, has signed three strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Delta Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. to support India’s green energy transition. The partnership focuses on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Green Hydrogen and EV Charging Infrastructure, and Solar PV Inverters.
The MoUs were signed by Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director, Delta Electronics India, and Dr. Faruk Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, KP Group. These agreements aim to co-develop scalable, future-ready energy infrastructure.
Under the first MoU, KP Group will lead project development and site integration for BESS solutions, while Delta will supply power electronics and energy management systems, including support for smart monitoring and remote diagnostics.
The second MoU focuses on integrated green hydrogen and EV charging hubs. KP Group will oversee the development of green hydrogen plants powered by renewable energy, and Delta will provide critical technologies including hydrogen compression, dispensing equipment, and EV charging systems. The companies will also collaborate on skills development for station operations.
The third MoU will see Delta supply 1 GW of advanced grid-connected solar inverters to KP Group over the next year. These inverters are compatible with solar and hybrid configurations and will include features like grid support and remote diagnostics.
KP Group, through its listed platforms, has already developed over 5.75 GW of renewable energy assets. Delta, a key player in power and energy management, brings global experience in clean energy technologies, having deployed over 3 million EV chargers worldwide.
Together, the companies aim to build pilot hydrogen ecosystems, scale clean energy adoption, and contribute to India’s decarbonization and sustainable mobility goals.
