Kia India reported its highest-ever monthly factory dispatches since entering the Indian market, delivering 33,462 units in October 2026. The volume represents a 13.2 percent year-on-year growth compared to 29,556 units dispatched in October 2025.
On a sequential basis, October dispatches rose 4.5 percent over the previous monthly record of 32,017 units set in September 2026, marking a second consecutive month of record performance.
For the January to October 2026 period, cumulative factory dispatches reached 286,470 units, registering a 21.3 percent year-on-year increase compared to the corresponding ten-month period of the previous year. With these volumes, the automaker surpassed its full-year 2025 total dispatches of 280,286 units within the first ten months of 2026.
Volume growth during the month was driven by core models including the Seltos and Sonet, with the Seltos recording over 13,000 units in October. Alternative powertrains also contributed to the overall total, with CNG variants of the Carens and Carens Clavis accounting for nearly 10 percent of monthly dispatches, while electric vehicle shipments grew 31 percent sequentially over September, supported by the Syros EV and Carens Clavis EV.
"We were able to ride the positive festive demand momentum, supported by the strong performance of our established models and the encouraging response to our newer offerings, driving the overall growth," Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India, said.
