Jindal Aluminium sets new production record for aluminium extruded products
The company achieved a 10% growth in production compared to FY 2022-23.
Jindal Aluminium has produced an unprecedented 1,15,920 metric tons (MT) of aluminium extruded products in FY 2023-24. This achievement marks a 10% increase in production compared to FY 2022-23, reaffirming the company's commitment to meeting the growing market demand.
Operational across three cutting-edge manufacturing plants situated in Bengaluru, Dabaspet (Karnataka), and a newly acquired facility in Bhiwadi (Rajasthan), Jindal Aluminium boasts a combined manufacturing capacity of 2.35 lakh tonnes per annum. This includes production capabilities of 160,000 tonnes of Aluminium extruded products and 75,000 tonnes of Aluminium flat-rolled products. Additionally, the company houses eco-friendly surface coating facilities such as powder coating and anodising within its premises.

Jindal Aluminium has played a pivotal role in shaping India's downstream aluminium industry and stands as the sole Aluminium extrusion company in India to receive aerospace (AS9100D) certification. Furthermore, the company demonstrates its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility by utilising 100% renewable energy at two of its manufacturing units in Karnataka.
As per the latest report by IMARC, the aluminium extrusion market in India is anticipated to reach a staggering 1,288,202.3 tonnes by 2028, indicating a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.49% from 2023 to 2028. This upward trajectory underscores Jindal Aluminium's strategic positioning and portends a promising future for the aluminium extrusion sector, offering abundant opportunities for stakeholders across the value chain, the company shared.
