Jeep India Launches Wrangler Willys ‘41 Special Edition at INR 1.51 Lakhs Premium
Limited to 30 units, featuring new ‘41 Green’ paint and functional upgrades.
Jeep India has launched the Wrangler Willys ‘41 Special Edition, a limited-run model available in only 30 units across India. The edition features a new ‘41 Green’ color, exclusive to this model, along with functional enhancements such as power side steps, grab handles, floor mats, dash cams, and optional adventure upgrades.
The Wrangler Willys ‘41 Special Edition is built on the Rubicon variant and includes a 1941 hood decal and military-inspired styling. The model is available at a premium of INR 1.51 lakhs, with an optional accessory pack priced at INR 4.56 lakhs.
Jeep first introduced the Willys MB in 1941, developed for military use during World War II. It was later adapted into civilian versions under the CJ (Civilian Jeep) series, which laid the foundation for Jeep’s consumer lineup. The Wrangler model, introduced in 1986, continues many of the mechanical principles of the Willys, including solid axles, body-on-frame construction, and four-wheel drive capability. Jeep’s Wrangler has undergone multiple updates, integrating modern technology with off-road capability.
The Willys editions have periodically appeared as special models, incorporating heritage-inspired elements while maintaining Jeep’s engineering focus on durability and functional design.
