Battery-technology startup Log 9 Materials which is anticipating a boom in India's EV market, is gearing to fulfill vehicle manufacturers' aspiration of increasing EV localisation with its indigenous lithium-ion cells that will be manufactured at its newly-commissioned, state-of-the art cell manufacturing facility in Jakkar, Bengaluru.

Akshay Singhal tells Renuka Kirpalani, Executive Editor, Video Content, Autocar India, about the company's lithium-titanium-oxide (LTO) and lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) chemistry cells, and its capacity to produce 50MWH of batteries that can power around 8,000 electric three-wheelers every year.
