Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the corporate social responsibility arm of Hyundai Motor India Limited, has donated two Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances to Primary Health Centres in Takve and Yelse villages of Maval Taluka, Pune. The initiative aims to improve access to emergency medical care in rural parts of Maharashtra, with a total investment of ₹80 lakh.
The ambulances were formally handed over in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Ajit Pawar, School Education Minister Shri Dadaji Bhuse, Deputy Chairperson of the Maharashtra Legislative Council Dr. Neelam Gorhe, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Anna Bansode, and Zilla Parishad CEO Gajanan Patil. Hyundai Motor India was represented by Puneet Anand, AVP and Vertical Head – Corporate Affairs, Corporate Communication & Social, and Saurabh Sharma, Domain Head – CSV.
Outfitted with essential medical equipment such as ventilators, oxygen cylinders, and suction pumps, the ALS ambulances are designed to support a range of emergencies including trauma, maternal health, and pediatric care. The initiative is part of HMIF’s flagship healthcare program, Sparsh Sanjeevani, which focuses on extending quality healthcare services to underserved and remote communities.
