Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Launches Unified Website Platform

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) launched its redesigned website on May 29, 2025, combining three previously separate digital platforms into a single unified experience at www.honda2wheelersindia.com. The new platform integrates Honda2wheelersindia.com, HondaBigwing.in, and HondaRacingIndia.com under one digital roof.

The website redesign addresses the company's mobile-first user base, with over 80 percent of visitors accessing the site through mobile devices. The platform features 360-degree product views, responsive design across screen sizes, and streamlined navigation that allows users to browse commuter vehicles, BigWing motorcycles, and racing content without switching between different websites.

Honda has incorporated several technical improvements in the new platform. An AI-enabled chatbot provides real-time customer support, while a content management system allows for regular updates to product information and company news. The website uses component-based design templates to maintain consistency across different product categories while preserving each line's distinct identity.

Security measures have been upgraded to protect user data and transactions, particularly for service bookings and product inquiries. The platform employs what the company describes as state-of-the-art security standards for all user interactions.

Beyond product showcases, the website includes dedicated sections highlighting Honda's road safety initiatives and corporate social responsibility programs. These sections detail the company's involvement in healthcare, education, rural development, and women empowerment initiatives.

HMSI operates as the Indian subsidiary of Honda Motor Company, one of the world's largest motorcycle manufacturers. The company has maintained a presence in India's two-wheeler market for over two decades, competing in both the commuter and premium motorcycle segments through its regular Honda and BigWing product lines.

The Indian two-wheeler market represents one of the largest globally, with millions of units sold annually across scooters and motorcycles. Digital platforms have become increasingly important for manufacturers as consumers research and compare vehicles online before making purchase decisions.

The unified website represents Honda's effort to streamline its digital presence in India while accommodating the growing number of mobile users. The company has positioned the platform as part of its broader digital transformation strategy in the Indian market.

HMSI's new website launch comes as automotive manufacturers increasingly focus on digital customer engagement and online-to-offline integration in their sales processes. The platform aims to support the complete customer journey from initial product research through to dealer visits and service appointments.
