Honda launches updated Livo with digital features at Rs 83,080.
Honda launches the 2025 Livo commuter motorcycle with digital features and OBD2B compliance, priced between Rs 83,080 and Rs 85,878, aimed at enhancing its presence in the 110cc segment.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has introduced the 2025 version of its Livo commuter motorcycle, featuring a digital instrument cluster and OBD2B compliance. The motorcycle, available in drum and disc brake variants, is priced between Rs 83,080 and Rs 85,878 ex-showroom Delhi.
The updated model includes a digital display showing real-time mileage, distance to empty, service indicators, and gear position. The motorcycle retains its 109.51cc single-cylinder engine, producing 6.47 kW power at 7500 RPM and 9.30 Nm torque at 5500 RPM, paired with a four-speed transmission.
HMSI Managing Director Tsutsumu Otani said the new model aims to enhance the company's presence in the 110cc segment. The motorcycle will be sold through Honda's dealership network across India.
The 2025 Livo comes in three color combinations - black with orange stripes, black with blue stripes, and blue. Safety features include a side stand engine cut-off system, which prevents the engine from starting when the side stand is down.
The OBD2B compliance brings the motorcycle in line with upcoming emission regulations. This technology enables better monitoring of the vehicle's emission control systems, reflecting the industry's move toward stricter emission standards.
The 110cc motorcycle segment in India, which accounts for a significant portion of two-wheeler sales, has seen increasing competition with manufacturers adding features typically found in higher segments. The segment primarily caters to urban commuters and has witnessed growing demand for fuel-efficient vehicles with modern features.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, which entered the Indian market in 1999, has maintained its position as one of the leading two-wheeler manufacturers in the country. The company's product range spans from 110cc commuter motorcycles to premium motorcycles, with the Livo positioned in the entry-level segment.
The Indian two-wheeler market has been showing signs of recovery after facing challenges during the pandemic years, with manufacturers focusing on introducing updated models with new features while maintaining competitive pricing.
