Hero MotoCorp, the Indian motorcycle manufacturer, has launched the XPulse 200 4V and XPulse 200 Pro in the United Kingdom. The bikes went on sale on 19 May 2026 and are distributed by Lancashire-based MotoGB, which became Hero's official UK partner in 2025. The UK launch follows earlier market entries into Italy and Spain, and represents the company's most significant European expansion to date in the lightweight adventure segment.

The XPulse 200 4V is priced at £2,499 plus £200 on-the-road costs. The XPulse 200 Pro, which carries additional off-road hardware, is priced at £2,699 plus £200 OTR. Both come with a two-year warranty and are available through 36 authorised sales and service outlets across the UK. At these price points, the XPulse range sits at the more accessible end of the adventure motorcycle market, where it will compete against established entry-level models from brands such as Royal Enfield, Honda and Yamaha.

Both models share the same 199.6cc, four-valve, single-cylinder oil-cooled engine, producing 18.9 BHP at 8,500 RPM and 17.35 Nm of torque at 6,500 RPM, paired with a five-speed gearbox. Hero says the engine is tuned for low-to-mid range response, which the company considers well suited to both urban use and touring. Standard equipment on both includes three ABS modes (Road, Off-Road and Rally), a Bluetooth-enabled LCD instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation, LED lighting with a claimed 230% improvement in light intensity over conventional halogen units, a bash plate, handguards, and a luggage plate with integrated bungee hooks.

The two models differ primarily in their off-road specification. The XPulse 200 4V has an 825mm seat height, 220mm ground clearance, and 190mm of front suspension travel on 37mm telescopic forks with preload-adjustable rear monoshock. The Pro variant raises the seat height to 891mm, increases ground clearance to 270mm, and fits fully adjustable suspension with 250mm of front travel and 220mm at the rear. The Pro also adds handlebar risers for standing riding positions and an extended gear lever designed to accommodate off-road boots. Kerb weight is 159kg for the standard model and 161kg for the Pro.

The bikes were unveiled at Inch Perfect Trials, an off-road venue in Lancashire's Ribble Valley, where the rough woodland terrain and river crossings provided a working demonstration of the motorcycle's off-road credentials. Speaking at the launch, Hero MotoCorp CEO Harshavardhan Chitale said the XPulse had built an identity globally as an accessible yet capable adventure motorcycle, and that the company expected it to appeal to both everyday riders and off-road enthusiasts in the UK market.

Hero MotoCorp, headquartered in New Delhi, describes itself as the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters by volume, a position it says it has held for 25 consecutive years. The company reports annual revenue of around $5 billion and operates eight manufacturing facilities — six in India and one each in Colombia and Bangladesh — alongside research and development centres in India and Germany. Its products are currently sold in 52 countries, with a cumulative customer base of over 125 million.

In addition to its mainstream combustion-engine range, Hero MotoCorp has been expanding into electric mobility through its VIDA brand and has made investments in EV manufacturers Ather Energy and Euler Motors. The company also holds strategic alliances with Harley-Davidson and Zero Motorcycles for the development of premium and electric motorcycles respectively.

The UK distribution partner, MotoGB, is a family-owned business that has operated in the UK motorcycle and scooter market for over 40 years, running what it describes as the country's largest dealer network from its headquarters in Adlington, Chorley. Since taking on the Hero MotoCorp distribution agreement in 2025, MotoGB has grown the brand's retail footprint to its current 36 outlets.
