Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Crosses 4 lakh EV sales
The company said its electric vehicles have collectively covered more than 9 billion kilometres across passenger and cargo last-mile applications.
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML) has crossed 4 lakh cumulative electric vehicle sales, becoming the first commercial vehicle manufacturer in India to reach the milestone, the company said on Wednesday.
The company said its electric vehicles have collectively covered more than 9 billion kilometres across passenger and cargo last-mile applications. This has helped avoid approximately 1.85 lakh tonnes of CO₂ emissions, according to MLMML.
MLMML, a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra, has been India's No. 1 electric commercial vehicle manufacturer for four consecutive financial years, according to the company. Its electric portfolio includes the Treo range, UDO, Zor Grand, e-Alfa and ZEO.
The company said the adoption of its electric commercial vehicles has been driven by their economics and their ability to support customers' daily earnings and business operations. It has also invested in products, partnerships, financing and customer support to expand electric mobility in the last-mile segment.
MLMML is targeting one million electric vehicles on the road by 2031.
“4 Lakh is not just a number for us — it is 4 Lakh livelihoods we helped power every single day,” Suman Mishra, managing director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, said. She added that the company would focus on improving products, strengthening the ecosystem and making electric mobility more accessible to last-mile customers.
