Euler Motors and Magenta Mobility Cross 2 Crore Kilometres in Joint EV Operations, Report Emissions Savings
Euler Motors and Magenta Mobility surpass 2 crore EV kilometres, cutting 1,757 tons of CO₂, showcasing scalable, sustainable last-mile delivery solutions across India’s major cities.
Euler Motors and Magenta Mobility have collectively completed over 2 crore (20 million) kilometres of electric vehicle (EV) operations across India, marking a significant milestone in the country’s commercial electric mobility adoption. The achievement highlights one of the largest institutional deployments of electric commercial vehicles in India to date.
The collaboration involves a fleet of 733 electric vehicles manufactured by Euler Motors, deployed across more than 10 cities including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai. These vehicles are primarily used for last-mile delivery services, supporting logistics operations for major e-commerce and retail companies such as Flipkart, Amazon, D-Mart, Zomato, ShadowFax, and DHL.
According to data shared by the two companies, the deployment has resulted in the avoidance of approximately 1,757 metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions and saved over 665,000 litres of diesel. The environmental benefit is estimated to be equivalent to planting more than 73,000 trees.
The fleet has maintained an operational uptime of over 97%, a figure attributed to dedicated on-ground service support, regular maintenance protocols, and Euler Motors’ localized service infrastructure. This high availability rate underscores the reliability of electric fleets in demanding urban logistics environments.
Euler Motors provides technical support through on-site service teams, driver training programs, and technology integrations designed to optimize fleet performance. Its DODO (Driver-Owned, Driver-Operated) model, which enables drivers to own and operate their vehicles, has also been cited as a factor contributing to vehicle care and longevity.
Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors, stated that the milestone reflects the growing maturity of India’s EV ecosystem. “This collaboration demonstrates that electric commercial vehicles can meet real-world operational demands across multiple geographies,” he said.
Maxson Lewis, Managing Director and CEO of Magenta Mobility, emphasized that performance parity with internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles is critical for widespread EV adoption. “Our experience with Euler Motors shows that electric fleets can deliver consistent, scalable, and efficient logistics solutions while reducing environmental impact,” he said.
Magenta Mobility operates as a full-stack electric mobility provider, offering vehicle financing, charging infrastructure, fleet management, and maintenance services. Its partnership with Euler Motors combines vehicle supply with comprehensive operational support, aiming to reduce total cost of ownership for fleet operators.
As India continues to advance its electric mobility transition, particularly in the commercial transport sector, the Euler-Magenta collaboration serves as a case study in large-scale EV deployment, highlighting the importance of vehicle reliability, service networks, and long-term partnerships in enabling sustainable urban logistics.
