Eicher Motors Reports 32% Revenue Growth Q1 FY27

Net profit rises 21% as Royal Enfield and VECV record highest-ever quarterly sales volumes. Royal Enfield to establish a new plant with an initial capacity of 4.5 lakh motorcycles annually.

Eicher Motors Limited (EML) reported a 32% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue from operations for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, reaching Rs 6,632 crore compared to Rs 5,024 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal year.

Consolidated profit after tax (PAT) rose 21% to Rs 1,463 crore, up from Rs 1,205 crore in Q1 FY26. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) grew 32% to Rs 1,591 crore from Rs 1,203 crore in the year-ago period.

Royal Enfield recorded quarterly motorcycle sales of 332,940 units during the quarter, representing a 27% increase from 261,326 units sold in Q1 FY26. Operational highlights during the quarter included the rollout of the Bullet 650, fresh colour options for the Hunter 350, and the initial deliveries of its Flying Flea C6 electric motorcycle starting in Bengaluru.

VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), the company's commercial vehicle joint venture with Volvo Group, posted revenue from operations of Rs 6,610 crore, up 16.6% from Rs 5,671 crore in Q1 FY26. VECV reported quarterly sales of 24,815 units, compared to 21,610 units in the year-ago period. VECV's EBITDA rose 6.1% to Rs 541 crore, while its profit after tax reached Rs 300 crore against Rs 288 crore in Q1 FY26.

Additionally, the Eicher Board approved an investment of Rs 1,225 crore for Phase I of a new greenfield manufacturing facility in Tada, Andhra Pradesh. Phase I of the Andhra Pradesh plant is projected to add an annual production capacity of 4.5 lakh motorcycles.
