Eicher Motors Reports 22% Jump in June Motorcycle Sales
The Royal Enfield manufacturer sold 89,540 motorcycles in June 2025, driven by strong domestic demand and international expansion efforts.
Eicher Motors Limited reported a 22% increase in motorcycle sales for June 2025, selling 89,540 units compared to 73,141 units in the same month last year. The company disclosed these figures to the BSE and National Stock Exchange of India as part of its monthly sales reporting to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers.
The growth was led by motorcycles with engine capacity up to 350cc, which saw sales rise 25% to 76,680 units from 61,465 units in June 2024. Models with engine capacity exceeding 350cc recorded sales of 12,860 units, representing a 10% increase from 11,676 units in the previous year.
International business showed the strongest growth trajectory, with sales jumping 79% to 12,583 units in June 2025 from 7,024 units in June 2024. These international sales are included in the total domestic figures.
For the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 (April-June 2025), Eicher Motors sold 2,65,528 motorcycles, marking a 17% increase from 2,26,907 units in the corresponding period of 2024. Year-to-date international sales grew 65% to 36,749 units from 22,221 units in the previous year.
Eicher Motors, best known for manufacturing Royal Enfield motorcycles, has been expanding its presence in international markets while maintaining its position in the Indian motorcycle segment. The company operates through its corporate office in Gurugram and registered office in New Delhi.
The sales data was submitted by Company Secretary Atul Sharma to both major Indian stock exchanges, where Eicher Motors trades under the symbol EICHERMOT on NSE and security code 505200 on BSE.
