DriveX Mobility has appointed Pulkit Gupta as Senior Vice President of Sales, the company announced Monday. The hiring comes as the pre-owned two-wheeler platform prepares to expand its retail presence through company-owned and franchise models.

Gupta brings nearly 20 years of experience in automotive sales and channel development to the Bangalore-based company. His career spans multiple segments of the automotive industry, including positions at Apollo Tyres, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Skoda, Ather Energy, and Revolt Motors.

At Ather Energy, Gupta was responsible for establishing and scaling sales operations, contributing to growth in both volume and network expansion. Most recently at Revolt Motors, he led national sales initiatives and dealer network development while helping establish international operations in Sri Lanka and Nepal.

In his new role at DriveX, Gupta will oversee sales transformation efforts including dealer expansion, team development, market penetration, and strategic partnerships. The company operates through both company-owned stores and franchise locations as it seeks to grow its multi-city presence.

"DriveX is creating something meaningful, making quality, affordable mobility accessible to millions," Gupta said in a statement. "My focus will be on building a sales ecosystem that can scale while being rooted in trust with customers and dealers."

DriveX describes itself as Asia's first multi-brand affordable mobility platform in the pre-owned two-wheeler category. The company was founded by Narain Karthikeyan and Christopher Sargunam, offering two-wheelers through subscription models and direct sales at reduced prices.

The platform combines technology-driven sourcing, digital price discovery, and flexible ownership options through refinancing partnerships. DriveX positions itself as serving the affordable mobility sector in India beyond traditional pre-owned vehicle sales.

"Pulkit brings deep industry experience and a proven ability to scale dealer networks," said Narain Karthikeyan, founder and director of DriveX. "His leadership will be key as we expand our retail footprint and deliver a stronger customer experience across India."

Gupta holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Marketing. His appointment strengthens DriveX's leadership team as the company pursues expansion in India's pre-owned two-wheeler market.
