Citroën India Announces Insurance Partnership with IndusInd General Insurance
French automaker expands insurance options for customers through collaboration with private insurer to streamline claims and services.
Citroën India has entered into a strategic partnership with IndusInd General Insurance to enhance insurance services for its customers across the country.
The collaboration aims to provide Citroën vehicle owners with expanded insurance options and improved claim settlement processes. The partnership forms part of Citroën's broader initiative to simplify the car ownership experience for its customer base in India.
Under the arrangement, customers will gain access to IndusInd General Insurance's motor insurance solutions, which include customized coverage options and digital claim processing capabilities. The insurer brings its network of more than 90,000 intermediaries and 129 branches nationwide to support Citroën customers.
Key features of the partnership include comprehensive coverage against various risks, nationwide insurance and claims support, cashless claim settlements with reduced paperwork, and digital-first service delivery.
Shishir Mishra, Business Head and Director of Strategic Partnerships and Institutional Business at Stellantis India, stated that the partnership aims to make Citroën ownership more effortless by providing enhanced flexibility and quicker claims processing.
Rakesh Jain, CEO of IndusInd General Insurance, described the collaboration as an opportunity to deliver superior protection through the company's digital infrastructure and extensive network.
IndusInd General Insurance, formerly known as Reliance General Insurance, offers a range of insurance products including motor, health, travel, and home insurance. The company serves retail, corporate, and SME clients across India.
Citroën, which has been operating since 1919, is present in 101 countries with 6,200 points of sale and service worldwide. The brand offers various vehicle models, including electric and rechargeable hybrid versions.
