BikeWo, KlikAir Sign MoU to Evaluate Air Cargo Logistics Platform

BikeWo Green Tech has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Kwik Flite Support, which operates under the KlikAir brand, to jointly evaluate the development of an integrated air cargo and aviation logistics platform as part of its broader mobility and logistics strategy.

Under the proposed collaboration, the companies will assess pilot air cargo operations, commercial opportunities and operating models for time-sensitive and high-value freight. The initial focus will span sectors including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, electronics, automotive components, industrial spare parts and enterprise supply chains.

The evaluation will cover the end-to-end logistics chain, including first-mile cargo collection, airport cargo handling, air transportation, last-mile delivery, shipment tracking, enterprise logistics services and airport-to-airport as well as airport-to-door cargo movement.

Subject to successful pilot outcomes, the two companies will explore the feasibility of establishing a technology-enabled air cargo platform connecting metropolitan centres with Tier-II and Tier-III markets through an integrated road and aviation logistics network. The partnership will also examine opportunities in regional air logistics, express cargo services, drone-enabled logistics and other emerging transportation technologies.

The collaboration comes as logistics providers increasingly explore multimodal transport networks to improve delivery timelines and strengthen supply chain efficiency. BikeWo said the initiative is intended to assess how aviation logistics can complement its existing road-based mobility ecosystem.

"This collaboration enables us to evaluate air cargo as a strategic extension of our logistics platform and reinforces our commitment to building next-generation logistics infrastructure for India," said Hiten Pal Saklani, CEO, BikeWo Green Tech Limited.

Kwik Flite Support said the collaboration would evaluate commercially scalable air cargo opportunities by combining its aviation expertise with BikeWo's logistics network. According to the companies, the partnership will initially focus on evaluating operational and commercial viability before considering wider deployment.
