BikeWo Green Tech Partners with Flipkart for Electric Vehicle Logistics Operations

BikeWo Green Tech Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with Instakart Services Private Limited, a logistics subsidiary of Flipkart Group, to provide electric vehicle-based last-mile delivery services across India. The collaboration marks BikeWo's largest nationwide engagement in the electric logistics sector.

The partnership involves the deployment of more than 1,300 dedicated delivery partners operating electric and green vehicles across Flipkart's designated delivery hubs. Operations have commenced in seven states, with BikeWo responsible for streamlining last-mile logistics to ensure delivery efficiency and reliability.

The delivery framework includes trained personnel, integrated route planning, and compliance with service-level requirements established by Instakart Services. BikeWo will submit regular hub-wise capacity plans and adhere to safety, data security, and performance protocols defined by the Flipkart subsidiary.

BikeWo's technology platform will support the operations through AI-driven route optimization, hub-wise capacity planning, and real-time performance tracking. The integrated system is designed to enhance operational efficiency and scalability while reducing the carbon footprint associated with traditional logistics operations.

The partnership aligns with both companies' environmental objectives. Flipkart has been investing in supply chain decarbonization efforts, while BikeWo continues to establish its position in electric vehicle-led logistics services. Flipkart aims to transition a significant portion of its last-mile delivery fleet to electric vehicles by 2030.

"This is more than a partnership, it's a shared commitment to climate-conscious growth," said Manideep Katepalli, Managing Director of BikeWo Green Tech Limited. "As e-commerce volumes rise, it's crucial that logistics keeps pace not just in speed, but in sustainability. We're proud to enable Flipkart's push toward a greener future."

BikeWo Green Tech Limited was incorporated in December 2016 as an Indian electric two-wheeler retailer operating through a dealership model. The company initially focused on used four-wheeler transactions before expanding into the electric vehicle market in 2022. BikeWo currently markets and sells electric two-wheelers through a network of dealerships across multiple cities.

The company has been forming partnerships with businesses across various industries to provide zero-emission last-mile services, positioning itself in the growing electric logistics sector. This collaboration with Flipkart represents BikeWo's operational readiness and technological integration capabilities in sustainable logistics and urban mobility infrastructure.
