Bajaj Auto Launches 2025 Pulsar NS400Z at ₹1.92 Lakh with Power and Tech Upgrades

Bajaj Auto Ltd. has introduced the 2025 version of its Pulsar NS400Z, incorporating key performance upgrades and new technology. Launched at an ex-showroom price of ₹1,92,328 in Delhi, the new model marks a year since the original NS400Z debuted. Over 20,000 units of the bike are currently on Indian roads.

The motorcycle now delivers 43 PS of power, up from 40 PS, with improvements to the valve train, cam timings, and intake duct. A forged piston has been introduced to improve thermal stability and durability. As a result, acceleration has improved, with 0–60 km/h achieved in 2.7 seconds and 0–100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. The top speed now stands at 157 km/h.

Bajaj has also redesigned the radiator cowl to aid heat dissipation, particularly away from the rider’s legs. New radial tyres at the front and rear, including a wider 150-section tyre at the rear, are aimed at improving grip and rider feedback. A sintered brake pad has been added at the front for better braking performance.

A major addition is the segment-first clutch-less quick-shifter, co-developed with Bosch, which allows full-throttle gear shifts. This feature functions exclusively in Sports Mode and does not rely on external sensors.

The motorcycle retains its key features, including 43 mm USD forks, LED projector headlamp, and a fully digital LCD console with Bluetooth, navigation, music controls, lap timer, and traction control. It also offers four riding modes: Rain, Road, Off-road, and Sports.

According to Sumeet Narang, President – Marketing, Bajaj Auto Ltd., the updates are shaped by customer feedback and designed to refine performance while offering new technology for everyday riders. The NS400Z continues to be part of Bajaj’s Naked Sports series, which includes the NS200 and NS160.

Bajaj Auto remains a leading motorcycle exporter from India, with over 21 million units sold globally.
