Hero MotoCorp Refreshes Brand Identity for EV Arm Vida
Visual Overhaul Accompanies Expansion Into Off-Road and Future Mobility Platforms.
Hero MotoCorp has introduced a refreshed brand identity for its electric vehicle vertical, Vida, marking a visual shift four years after the brand's initial global debut in 2022. The design update is intended to reflect the expanding operational scope of the electric mobility unit, which has transitioned from a product line into a broader ecosystem. This portfolio now encompasses commuter electric scooters, the Dirt.E off-road range, and the Novus future-mobility platform.
The updated visual architecture centers around a V-shaped lettermark derived from the primary logo of parent company Hero MotoCorp. The branding overhaul also introduces a new kinetic motion framework and an electric sonic signature called the Voom, which will be implemented across digital dashboards and vehicle motors. The revised color scheme integrates a palette of black, white, and orange.
To mark the introduction of the new logo, the company constructed a 35,292 square foot representation of the brand emblem using several vehicles, including the Vida VX2, Vida Dirt.E K3, Novus Nex 1, and the Hero XPulse, securing a placement in the Asia Book of Records. According to the manufacturer, the new visual assets will be deployed through a phased rollout across physical retail touchpoints, digital platforms, and connected vehicle interfaces.
Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp, stated that the transition builds upon the company's legacy to guide its emerging mobility branch into new directions. Kausalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer of the Emerging Mobility Business Unit at Hero MotoCorp, added that the visual shift aligns with changing consumer expectations for accessible upgrades in everyday transportation.
