Autoverse Mobility Launches Warranty Program, WhatsApp Discovery Tool and EV Training at Industry Event

Autoverse Mobility announced four new initiatives on 24 March 2026 at its Motor Mechanic Day event in Bangalore, covering a parts warranty program, a WhatsApp-based garage discovery feature, an underbody coating product, and a certification program for electric vehicle mechanics. The announcements signal the company's effort to address structural challenges in India's automotive aftermarket, particularly around part authenticity, access to verified service providers, and preparedness for the shift to electric vehicles.

The warranty program is described as a first of its kind for the multi-brand garage segment. It allows garages to procure parts through an advanced traceability system that verifies and tracks genuine components across the supply chain, giving garage owners greater confidence in the parts they source. The program is currently active for select brands and is expected to be extended across the broader aftermarket ecosystem over time. The initiative addresses a persistent problem in India's aftermarket, where the prevalence of counterfeit and substandard parts has long undermined consumer trust and vehicle safety.

To help vehicle owners locate reliable service providers, Autoverse Mobility has also launched a WhatsApp-based mechanic discovery feature. Customers can use the number 888 499 8600 to connect with garages that have been verified and are known to use genuine parts. The feature is designed to reduce friction in finding trustworthy workshops, a challenge that has historically led many vehicle owners to rely on word-of-mouth or unverified service centres.

In partnership with Paracoat Products Limited, the company introduced Pynoseal, a high-performance underbody coating solution. The product is aimed at improving vehicle durability and long-term performance by protecting the underside of vehicles from corrosion, moisture, and road debris — concerns particularly relevant in Indian road and weather conditions.

The fourth initiative, an EV Mechanic Certification Program, is intended to equip mechanics with the skills required to service electric vehicles. As automakers and government policy continue to push electrification, the aftermarket has been slow to keep pace, with a significant shortage of trained technicians capable of handling EV-specific components and systems. The certification program is positioned as a step toward closing that skills gap at the garage level.

Speaking at the event, co-founder Rama Shankar Pandey said the aftermarket had long been marked by fragmentation, limited transparency, and unequal access to quality parts and capabilities. Founder and CEO Mihir Mohan noted that as mobility evolves, enabling mechanics with the right tools and access would be critical to the future of the sector.

The Motor Mechanic Day event also featured participation from automotive component manufacturers Sumax Industries, Lumax Auto, and Delux Bearings, each showcasing products directly to garage partners. Getafix, a garage management software provider, was also present, highlighting digital tools aimed at improving workshop operations. Pandey separately delivered a session on the 'Right to Repair' — a policy debate that has gained traction globally and is beginning to find relevance in India's automotive context, where independent garages often face restrictions on accessing manufacturer data and spare parts.

Autoverse Mobility was founded in Bangalore by Mihir Mohan, Shiv Soni, Krishnakumar (KK), and Rama Shankar Pandey. Pandey brings over three decades of experience in the automotive aftermarket, with prior roles at Bosch, Hella India, and Tata Greens. The company operates as a digital distributor of auto parts, focusing on supply chain efficiency, timely delivery, and parts authenticity for multi-brand workshops. India's automotive aftermarket is one of the largest in Asia, but has remained largely unorganised, creating the kind of inefficiencies that Autoverse Mobility says it is positioned to address.
