Automovill inaugurates 10,000 sq ft. workshop in Kolkata
The company invested over Rs 20 lakhs in setting up the workshop in Kolkata, which includes the facility itself and extends to providing washing and detailing services.
Bengaluru-based full-stack mobility solution provider, Automovill, has announced the opening of its latest workshop in Kolkata. The workshop, which was inaugurated on May 29 is set to provide a wide range of value-added services to cater to the growing needs of customers in the region.
Spanning over 10,000 square feet with 8 bays and state-of-the-art equipment, Automovill’s Kolkata workshop serves as a model for the company’s future expansion plans, with 10 more workshops planned across India.
The workshop focuses on electric vehicle (EV) fleet maintenance and facilitates insurance claims and renewals. It offers charging infrastructure to ensure that vehicles are charged while repairs are being carried out or while awaiting insurance approval. The workshop also provides a centralized claim handling facility, catering to the needs of businesses in the city.
Commenting on the workshop launch, Mridu Mahendra Das, Co-Founder and CEO, Automovill said, “We are confident that our workshop’s advanced infrastructure and skilled technicians will provide unmatched experiences to our valued customers in Kolkata”
With the launch of the new workshop Automovill has set sights on serving over 100 B2C retail customers, handling more than 150 commercial EVs, and providing services to 25 insurance vehicles in the first month alone.
