Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly Systems organised its Innovation Days 2026 event at its facility in Bavdhan, Pune. The three day showcase focusec on the transition toward connected and intelligent manufacturing systems for domestic automotive and industrial sectors. The event gathers original equipment manufacturers, tier suppliers, and manufacturing executives to observe the practical implementation of next generation production technologies.
The company has designed its Innovation Centre to simulate a real factory environment, allowing customers to experience and evaluate production systems prior to shopfloor implementation. The technology demonstration includes advanced tightening solutions, battery torquing tools, and virtual controller systems. The integrated ecosystem also features 2D and 3D vision systems, vision enabled dispensing, glass glazing, ISRA glass decking, and body in white E-Swirl applications.
Additional focus areas for the event include automation and screw feeding technologies aimed at improving production line productivity. Chandrashekhar Pathak, General Manager of Industrial Technique at Atlas Copco India, stated that the platform demonstrates how global technologies can be translated into scalable solutions tailored for the Indian manufacturing market.
The 2026 event marks the second edition of the technology showcase following an initial run in 2025.
