Tools & Equipment Expo 2026 To Bring 300+ Exhibitors To Delhi

The Tools & Equipment Expo 2026 (TAEE), the rebranded edition of an established industry platform with a 24-year legacy, will be held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from September 17-19. The event is expected to bring together more than 300 exhibitors, over 2,000 products and 150+ new product launches.

Organised by Informa Markets in India, the three-day exhibition will cover hand tools, power tools, cutting and welding technologies, smart tools, automation and sustainable equipment. Domestic and international exhibitors are expected to participate, with manufacturers, distributors, dealers, buyers and technology providers among the targeted attendees.

The expo comes as India's tools and equipment sector undergoes an infrastructure-led expansion. The event organiser cited a $2.26 billion power tools market growing at an 8.6% CAGR and a $1.97 billion machine tools market growing at a 7.5% CAGR.

Tools & Equipment Expo 2026 To Feature Live Demonstrations

The 2026 edition will include a Demo Zone and Innovation Zone, where exhibitors will demonstrate technologies and products. More than 150 new product launches are expected, covering solutions described by the organiser as smarter, more efficient and specialised.

The event will also host 12 knowledge sessions involving more than 25 speakers. Discussions will cover supply chain resilience, workforce development, automation, digitalisation, smart manufacturing and green technologies.

AI, Automation And Cordless Tools Among Key Trends

The exhibition will focus on technology shifts across the tools and equipment industry, including the adoption of AI, AR/VR, connected technologies and automation. The release links these developments to efforts to address workforce and efficiency requirements.

Cordless and battery-powered tools, smart tools, IoT-enabled monitoring, predictive maintenance and specialised access equipment are also identified among the areas gaining traction.

Sustainability will form another part of the exhibition, with exhibitors expected to showcase energy-efficient equipment, resource-efficient solutions, eco-friendly technologies and circular economy practices.

India’s Tool And Equipment Sector Targets $25 Billion Exports By 2035

The release attributes the expansion of India's tool and equipment market partly to government initiatives including Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes. It also points to a shift from conventional manual tools towards cordless lithium-ion platforms, AI-integrated systems and precision cutting and welding technologies linked to multi-axis CNC machinery for aerospace and automotive manufacturing.

The sector is targeting $25 billion in exports by 2035, according to the release. It also identifies several challenges, including a 33% reliance on China for electronic control units, high capital expenditure requirements for MSMEs and shortages of digital-twin talent.

The event is supported by industry associations including the Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings, Ludhiana Hand Tools Association, Indian Cutting Tool Manufacturers Association, Jalandhar Traders and Manufacturers Association, Association of Welding Products Manufacturers, AGIA, APSCA and Rajkot Engineers Association.
