Ammann India Rolls Out First ABG Paver from Gujarat Facility

Ammann India has rolled out its first ABG Pave ABG 5420 Tracked Paver (Tier 3) from its Ditasan manufacturing facility in Gujarat on August 7, 2025, marking the completion of ABG Paver business integration into the company. The ceremonial launch was led by Bernd Holz, Executive Vice President, ABG General Management, and Dheeraj Panda, Managing Director, Ammann India, along with senior leadership members at the Mehsana facility.

The milestone reflects the completion of ABG Paver business integration into Ammann India and supports the Government of India's 'Make in India for the World' vision. The Tier 3-compliant paver addresses the growing demand for technologically advanced, fuel-efficient, and emission-compliant road construction machinery driven by infrastructure programs including Bharatmala, PM Gati Shakti, and Smart Cities Mission.

The ABG 5420 Paver has been engineered for international markets, particularly Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, positioning the facility as a strategic export base. The company plans to produce more pavers for both domestic and foreign markets to serve clients across different geographic areas.

Alongside the paver launch, Ammann India unveiled a dedicated ABG warehouse spanning over 10,000 square feet with an additional 2,000+ square feet for material staging operations at the same Ditasan location. The facility features advanced material handling systems supporting up to 1,200 kg per shelf and a multi-level racking system with 8-level stacking capacity for approximately 1,800 SKUs.

The warehouse enhances production requirements and aftermarket parts support capabilities for ABG products by providing quick parts availability, optimized material flow, shortened delivery times, and improved service response. Its strategic layout is designed for future growth and scalable operations.

"The roll-out of the first ABG Paver from Ditasan and the commissioning of a dedicated warehouse are strong testaments to our commitment to localization, operational excellence, and customer service. These milestones will play a pivotal role in accelerating our ABG growth journey in India while boosting our capabilities as a global manufacturing and export hub," said Dheeraj Panda, Managing Director, Ammann India.

The developments reinforce Ammann India's focus on manufacturing innovation, localized excellence, and customer-centric service infrastructure to serve both domestic and global markets.
