The e-commerce major reports accelerated online purchases, driven by non-metro demand.
Amazon India has reported a sixfold increase in two-wheeler sales compared to its average-day pace since the start of its 'Great Indian Festival 2026' campaign.
Non-metro locations accounted for over 60 percent of total two-wheeler sales during the period, led by Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities including Surat, Kota, Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar, Prayagraj, and Ludhiana.
Commuter motorcycles experienced the sharpest expansion, growing at 13.5 times their average-day volume. Electric two-wheelers grew at eight times their baseline pace, while premium motorcycles recorded a 2.5-fold increase.
"More customers than ever are starting their purchase on Amazon.in, researching and comparing their next bike, and this festive season the trend has accelerated sharply," said Aman Deep Lohan, Director, Home, Kitchen and Outdoors, Amazon India.
