Allcargo Gati to launch 1,700 rebranded vehicles with alternate fuel solutions
This move is in accordance with the company's efforts to integrate sustainability into its operations.
Logistics company Allcargo Gati Ltd. will introduce over 1,700 rebranded vehicles powered by alternate fuel solutions (AFVs) for first and last-mile deliveries. This rollout is part of the company’s broader sustainability initiative aimed at achieving carbon neutrality by 2040.
The rebranded fleet, which includes vehicles designed for enhanced fuel efficiency, is a step towards reducing Allcargo Gati's environmental footprint. The move is in alignment with the company's efforts to integrate sustainability into its operations, while also aiming to improve cost-effectiveness and service efficiency.
Uday Sharma, Chief Commercial Officer at Allcargo Gati said, "The launch of our rebranded fleet underscores our commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. By integrating cutting-edge technology with enhanced efficiency, the AFVs are designed to reduce our carbon footprint while driving cost-effectiveness for our customers."
Kaushal Shetty, Head of Marketing and Transformation at Allcargo Gati said the rollout of the vehicles marks a bold step toward a faster, more reliable, and environmentally responsible delivery experience. The rebranded vehicles will better meet the dynamic needs of the market.
The fleet rebranding coincides with the Indian government's infrastructure push under initiatives like the PM Gati Shakti – National Master Plan, the National Logistics Policy, and the Bharatmala project. This fleet expansion also aims to strengthen the company’s service network, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
