June 18, 2012: Mahindra has announced that its Xylo MPV has hit a new sales milestone, with over 1,00,000 units sold. Of these, 26,252 units were dispatched in the last fiscal year itself.
The recent facelift of the Xylo, which also saw the addition of the Scorpio’s mHawk engine as an option and a number of new features, has contributed significantly to achieving the sales landmark.
Mahindra says high customer satisfaction was instrumental in the success of the Xylo, and that this has helped the company capture a 25 percent market share in the MPV segment in the 2012 fiscal year.
