TVS Srichakra unveils Tigertrac at Agritechnica Expo in Hanover
November 12, 2013: Tyre manufacturer TVS Srichakra Ltd has unveiled its latest agricultural radial tyre, Tigertrac for the European and global markets at Agritechnica 2013 at Hanover, Germany.
November 12, 2013: Tyre manufacturer TVS Srichakra Ltd has unveiled its latest agricultural radial tyre, Tigertrac for the European and global markets at Agritechnica 2013 at Hanover, Germany. To be marketed under the TVS Eurogrip brand, Tigertrac is a newly developed radial agricultural tyre line aimed at farm and road use. It offers good floatation and road performance with low fuel consumption and high resistance to wear, irregular wear and tear.
TVS Eurogrip-Tigertrac will initially come in AR65 Series in six different sizes catering to a majority of farm applications and features Envirotech, an environment-friendly technology and a novel manufacturing process. This process offers high floatation at very high loads, ride and comfort, low noise and high wear and irregular wear resistance performance up to 65kph.
The company says the Tigertrac tyres are manufactured on unique compact tyre building machines, capable of assembling the many tyre components in one revolution fully automated deposition, resulting in outstanding uniformity, harmonics of the tyre.
Commenting on the new tyre, P Vijayaraghavan, director, TVS Srichakra, said: “We are pleased to offer Tigertrac AR65 to the European market. AR65 featuring Envirotech by TVS Eurogrip is a one- stop solution for all farmers and contractors who would like to have the best profit margins, field efficiency, fuel consumption and operating costs all packaged under one solution.”
TVS Srichakra, which manufactures two- and three-wheeler tyres and off-road tyres and is part of the TVS Group, markets its products under the TVS Tyres and TVS Eurogrip brands. The company rolls out around 1.6 million tyres every month from its two units located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, and Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. It also produces a wide range of off-road tyres like industrial pneumatic tyres, skid steer and multi-purpose tyres, farm and implement tyres, motorgrader and agricultural tyres. On the export front, it ships its tyres to over 65 countries across the world.
