TVS Motor Company has launched its new XL 100 moped in Madhya Pradesh.

The XL 100 is powered by a 99.7cc four-stroke engine which develops maximum power of 4.14bhp, has good pick up and a top speed of 60kph. The vehicle is claimed to return fuel efficiency of 67kpl under simulated test conditions as per TVS standards.

The all-new, four- stroke XL 100 moped has been designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s customer and is one of the most affordable, reliable, easy to ride, powerful multi-utility two wheelers in the market. We are confident that it will garner high levels of customer satisfaction and will be well received in the market place.”

Products highlights include a boarder and more comfortable seat, a detachable rear seat with a robust rear flatbed platform to enable carrying of loads. The front platform is wider and longer now while an easy centre stand (for which a patent is pending), makes parking the XL 100 easier.

TVS says the moped’s ergonomics ensure a more comfortable riding stance. Additional features include an easy kick-start, bold style muffler, a bigger fuel tank and stainless steel brake cable for effective braking.

Along with the XL Super and XL Super Heavy Duty, the XL 100 is available across all TVS dealerships in Madhya Pradesh. The XL is priced at Rs 30,248 (ex-showroom) in Madhya Pradesh.
