The TVS Raider is part of an exports milestone

TVS Motor Company has exported one million two-wheelers. The company said that it has achieved this milestone in a financial year for the first time.

The key exports include the Apache series, HLX series, Raider, and Neo series. The company in a statement said that an increase in global motorcycle sales has significantly contributed to attaining this milestone. The exports also included sales from TVS Motor Company and PT TVS, Indonesia in FY 21-22.

Sudarshan Venu, the company’s JMD said, “This underscores our path towards being a global player in personal mobility solutions.”

K N Radhakrishnan, Director and CEO, TVS Motor Company, added, “We have a strong focus on expanding our market presence across global markets with an exciting range of products that cater to the fast-evolving mobility needs of every customer segment.  The two-wheeler company registered sales of 254,139 units in January 2022. Exports were at 86,344 units in January 2022 as against sales of 89,380 units in January 2021. The company, which has a presence across 80 countries in Africa, Southeast Asia, Indian Sub- Continent, Central and Latin America is planning to enter more markets in Europe and North America. The company’s two-wheeler export sales grew by 12 percent compared to Q3 of the last financial year.
