Toyota Kirloskar Motor eyes growth in emerging markets, opens showroom in Aizawl
Zote Toyota in Aizawl, Mizoram is TKM’s 21st customer touchpoint in the North-East region of India.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor, which recorded domestic market sales of 19,379 units and 90% year-on-year growth in May 2023, is targeting growth from emerging markets across India. Today, the car and SUV maker a new dealership – Zote Toyota in Aizawl, Mizoram – which is its 21st customer touchpoint in the North-East region of the country.
The Zote Toyota dealership facility, in the capital of Mizoram, is spread across 5,317 square feet and is equipped with facilities covering 1S (sales) and 2S (Service and Spares), including a team of well-trained sales and service professionals, in line with TKM’s philosophy of Quality, Durability and Reliability (QDR).
This latest network expansion follows the recent launch of TKM’s first Regional Stockyard in Guwahati and the subsequent setup of a Regional Parts Centre (RPC) in the Northeast at Guwahati, Assam. The Regional Stockyard streamlines new vehicle distribution in the region, significantly reducing delivery time from 13 days to a maximum of three days.
Speaking at the inauguration of Zote Toyota, Atul Sood, Vice-President – Sales and Strategic Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said: "This new dealership facility is a step forward in fulfilling our commitment to deliver a wide range of exceptional products and services to our esteemed customers in the North-East region.
