Tata Technologies opens new global engineering centre

Tata Technologies has inaugurated its new Global Engineering Centre in Bangalore. The new centre will cater to growing Tata Technologies global portfolio of clients in the automotive, aerospace and construction/heavy engineering verticals, and engage high-end engineering talent available in the city.

Samir Yajnik, President Global Services & COO Asia Pacific said; “Our Bangalore team has been meeting product development engineering challenges posed by our global clientele in the automotive, aerospace and heavy engineering industries exceedingly well. The new centre is a natural extension of our growth plans around Bengaluru as a base.”

Tata Technologies is one of the first engineering services company in India to offer full-vehicle development capabilities with an offshore engineering engagement model to reduce cost and deliver quality products.

Tata Technologies’ revenue has doubled over the past five years and its profits have grown by over 11 times. The company contributed to more than 18 patents on the Nano project. In April, Tata Technologies formed a new vehicle programs group to meet the demand for faster, more complex vehicle development support within the auto industry. Tata Technologies’ Vehicle Programs & Development (VPD) Group will include more than 200 engineers operating from four automotive engineering centers of excellence worldwide.
